On behalf of the members of District 48, the District Executive has allocated donations totallying $3, 000 to food banks in Athens, Brockville, Delta, Elgin, Gananoque, Merrickville, Portland, Kemptville, Seeley’s Bay, South Grenville and Westport, as well as Brockville’s Loaves and Fishes meal program. These cash contributions will allow the food banks to purchase in bulk at reduced cost and also to purchase perishable items like meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables.
